Residential Habilitation

Ideal Services Group (ISG) provides group living for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

These homes are in traditional neighborhoods and are usually single homes. Typically, three individuals live together in a home. They are provided with staff support 24 hours a day/seven days a week, based on the need of the individuals.

Staff members assist the individuals with personal care, daily living activities, community integration and social skills development.

ISG offers this service to individuals from all counties in the State of Pennsylvania.

The overarching goal of this service is to protect the health and welfare of the individuals who reside in the group home setting. Staff members assist them in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in the home and community-based settings.

Support is offered in the general areas of self-care, communication, fine and gross motor skills, mobility, therapeutic activities, personal adjustment, relationship development, socialization, and use of community resources.
